Suzanne Pleshette is an American actor and voiceover artist. Through her nearly five-decade-long career she had amassed hundreds of credits on her list of credits. An emigrant from New York, Pleshette began her acting career on stage but later began a gradual transition to the screen. Her most well-known films include Rome Adventure, The Birds, Fate Is the Hunter and If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium. Alongside her roles in films She has also appeared numerous TV films and television shows. She was nominated for Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Pleshette had been nominated two times, and won her the Laurel Award 1963 for The Birds. Pleshette, who died in 2008, was awarded a Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
