Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an extremely popular Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu movies, as well as a couple of Malayalam. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of actor Savitri for Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Her other awards include three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy has the father of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. In the early 2000s, she started her career as an actor. After completing her studies in fashion design, she returned to the world of film. She portrayed her first lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success in the theater. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's romance comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. It was not successful at the box-office. She had to drop out of several films she was already working on in 2015, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for larger projects. In two of her films, she acted that came out in quick succession, with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note in Prabhu's Thodari. The film has been in the process of being delayed, and there are reports of release after September, 2020 with a brand new title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay.
